HESHOUTANG TRADITIONAL FRAMEWORK

When Qi Is Weak, Circulation and Movement May Feel Less Efficient

UPOWER® is designed around the traditional relationship between Qi, healthy Blood flow, and the channels that support everyday movement.
01

Qi Provides the Driving Force

Qi is traditionally understood as the force that helps support the movement of Blood throughout the body.

02

Blood Nourishes the Body

Healthy Blood flow helps nourish the muscles, tissues, and extremities that support everyday physical function.

03

The Channels Connect Movement

When Qi and Blood move smoothly through the channels, the limbs are better supported with warmth, nourishment, and vitality.

UPOWER® brings these three traditional principles together: support Qi, promote healthy Blood flow, and support the channels.

SIGNS PRIORITY

Who May Benefit from UPOWER®?

UPOWER® may be a suitable traditional support option when circulation, movement, warmth, and physical vitality no longer feel as strong or efficient as they once did.

Weak or Heavy Limbs

Arms or legs may feel weak, heavy, or more easily fatigued during everyday activity.

Reduced Ease of Movement

Everyday movement may feel less smooth, less comfortable, or require more effort than before.

Poor Warmth in the Extremities

Hands or feet may often feel cool, especially when overall circulation and physical vitality feel low.

Low Physical Vitality

Overall physical energy, stamina, and resilience may feel lower than you would like.

These signs may overlap. UPOWER® is designed around the traditional relationship between Qi, Blood flow, channel function, and movement.

TRADITIONAL PATHWAY

Why Circulation and Movement Are Closely Connected

In the Heshoutang traditional framework, healthy movement depends not only on the limbs themselves, but also on the Qi and Blood that nourish and support them.
01

Weak Qi

In the Heshoutang traditional framework, Qi provides the force that helps drive circulation throughout the body.

02

Reduced Driving Force

When Qi feels insufficient, the body's traditional driving force for healthy Blood movement may also feel less efficient.

03

Sluggish Blood Flow

Blood may move less smoothly through the body's traditional circulation pathways and extremities.

04

Channels Less Nourished

Muscles, tissues, and limbs may receive less of the warmth, nourishment, and support they need for comfortable movement.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful guidance for understanding where UPOWER® fits, how it is used, and what to consider before beginning.
What is UPOWER® designed to support?

UPOWER® is designed to provide traditional herbal support for Qi, healthy blood flow, channel function, movement, warmth, and physical vitality. In the Heshoutang framework, these functions are closely connected: Qi helps support circulation, circulation helps nourish the channels, and well-supported channels help the body move with greater strength and ease.

Who may benefit from UPOWER®?

UPOWER® may be considered when weakness, heaviness, reduced physical strength, sluggish movement, coldness, or poor circulation-like signs appear together. It is especially suited to the Heshoutang pattern of insufficient Qi accompanied by less efficient blood flow through the channels.

How should I take UPOWER®?

Begin with the full-support amount shown in the How to Use section. As your condition improves, the daily amount can be reduced gradually. UPOWER® is generally taken before meals according to the recommended step-down schedule.

How long should I use UPOWER®?

The length of use depends on the individual pattern and how quickly strength, movement, warmth, and physical function improve. Once significant improvement has occurred, the amount is gradually reduced rather than stopped abruptly, with a lower maintenance amount commonly continued for another 1–2 months.

Can UPOWER® be used with other Heshoutang products?

Yes, depending on the pattern. UPOWER® mainly supports the Qi–blood flow–channels–movement pathway, while another Heshoutang product may be selected when additional patterns such as cold, dampness, blood stasis, or Kidney weakness are also present. For more complex combinations, personalized guidance is recommended.

What should I know before using UPOWER®?

If you are pregnant or nursing, taking prescription medications, have a medical condition, or are preparing for surgery, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use. Because UPOWER® contains herbs traditionally associated with supporting circulation, additional care may be appropriate when using medications that affect blood clotting or circulation.

Not sure whether UPOWER® matches your pattern? Heshoutang Online Diagnosis can help identify the support path that best fits your signs.
