DissHernia® is a focused 5-herb formula designed for groin pressure, bulging, pulling discomfort, and a heavy or downward sensation. In the Heshoutang system, these patterns often involve both localized tension and reduced upward support.
In the Heshoutang system, these sensations are often viewed from two directions: localized constraint and reduced upward support.
When movement through the lower abdomen and groin becomes constrained, the area may feel tense, pulled, pressured or less comfortable.
When the body's lifting and holding function is reduced, the lower area may feel heavier, lower or less supported — especially after prolonged standing or exertion.
This leads to the central DissHernia® pattern: Qi Stagnation + Downward Sinking.
DissHernia® is built around a combined pattern of restricted Qi movement and reduced upward support.
When Qi movement becomes constrained in the lower abdomen and groin, pressure, pulling and localized discomfort may become more noticeable.
When lifting and holding function is reduced, the lower area may feel heavier, lower or less supported, especially after standing or exertion.
DissHernia® combines movement, dispersal, lifting and consolidation in one focused lower-abdominal support strategy.
Support smoother Qi movement through the lower abdomen and groin when the area feels pressured, tight or constrained.
Help release localized constraint, knotting and pulling sensations that can make the area feel less comfortable.
Support the body's upward holding function when the lower area feels heavy, lowered or less supported.
Support steadiness and local holding so the formula does more than simply move or disperse.
This four-part strategy prepares the way for the five-herb DissHernia® formula.
Five traditional ingredients work together to support Qi movement, release lower-abdominal constraint and promote local comfort.
Traditionally used to move Qi and help release lower-abdominal constraint, pulling and localized tension.
Traditionally used to disperse localized Qi constraint and support comfort when the groin or lower abdomen feels tight, knotted or pulled.
A traditional Qi-regulating herb used to promote smoother movement and ease lower-abdominal pressure, fullness and constraint.
Traditionally used to regulate constrained Qi and support comfort when lower-abdominal or groin tension feels fixed, tight or painful.
Traditionally used to warm the lower abdomen, disperse cold constraint and support smoother Qi movement and local comfort.
Consistency is more important than intensity. Adjust the daily amount gradually as pressure, pulling, heaviness and local discomfort improve over time.
Take 4 capsules, 3 times daily before meals to provide more intensive support during the early phase.
Once pressure, pulling or related discomfort has improved by approximately 50%, reduce to 4 capsules, twice daily before meals.
When symptoms have improved by approximately 90%, reduce to 3 capsules, twice daily before meals.
Continue with 2 capsules, 2 times daily before meals for 1–2 months to support ongoing lower-abdominal and groin balance.
Use consistently and reduce gradually as the pattern improves. Individual needs may vary.
Understanding when to use DissHernia®, how to adjust daily use, and when additional medical evaluation may be needed.
DissHernia® is designed for patterns involving groin or lower-abdominal pressure, pulling, heaviness, localized tension, and bulging sensations. The Heshoutang approach focuses on supporting smoother Qi movement and local comfort.
No. A true hernia is a structural condition. DissHernia® is positioned as herbal support for associated patterns such as pressure, pulling, heaviness and localized discomfort. It should not be presented as physically repairing or closing a hernia defect.
The initial phase uses 4 capsules, 3 times daily before meals. As the pattern improves, the daily amount can be reduced gradually according to the How to Use guide above.
When pressure, pulling or related discomfort has improved by approximately 50%, reduce to 4 capsules twice daily. At approximately 90% improvement, reduce to 3 capsules twice daily, followed by a lower maintenance amount.
Yes. The maintenance phase uses 2 capsules, twice daily before meals for 1–2 months to provide continued lower-abdominal and groin support after substantial improvement.
If lifting, coughing or straining makes the bulging or pressure noticeably worse, reducing unnecessary strain may be helpful. DissHernia® should not be used as a reason to continue activities that repeatedly aggravate the area.
No. Whether a hernia requires observation, medical management or surgery depends on the individual situation. DissHernia® is complementary herbal support and does not replace evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional.
Seek prompt medical care if there is sudden or severe pain, vomiting, rapidly increasing swelling, abdominal distension, discoloration over the bulge, or a bulge that becomes firm and cannot be pushed back.
A hernia is a structural condition. Sudden severe pain, vomiting, increasing swelling, or a bulge that becomes firm or cannot be reduced should be medically evaluated promptly.
